The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) says that on 24 and 25 March, its two -day nationwide strike will take place as per the program already decided. Due to this, banks can remain closed on both these dates. UFBU said that no positive result was found in the conversation with the Indian Banks Association (IBA) on the major demands of the employee organization. At the meeting with IBA, UFBU members raised many issues including recruitment in all cadres and 5 days in the 5 -day work week. Local Confederation of Bank Empoology (NCBE) General Secretary L.
